TERMS OF SERVICE

BY ORDERING A GECKO FROM US YOU ARE AGREEING TO THESE POLICIES.

Gecko photos
Sales photos are not edited in any way. Photos will be of how the gecko looked at the time of the picture. That means they won’t necessarily be fired up or down. I would be more than happy to provide more pictures of the animal fired up/down (or with an object of your choosing) as well as videos.

Sexing
The gender of any animal under 15g is not guaranteed. Sexes could be listed as Male, Female, Pores visible (PV), possible pores visible (PPV), probable female (PF), no pores visible (NPV), or unsexed. Only animals above 15g listed as Male or Female are guaranteed to be so. If your animal is 15 or more grams at the time of shipping, and the sex is different from what is listed, I will offer a replacement animal, or I will issue a refund if there is not a suitable replacement.

Tails
Geckos can drop their tails during shipping, when they are stressed, and sometimes for no reason at all. Dropped tails do not affect the breeding quality or the health of the animal. Because of this, we are not responsible and no compensation will be given if your gecko drops its tail during or after shipping.


7-day health guarantee
Crested geckos are guaranteed to be 100% healthy for 7 days after delivery. If you fail to provide your gecko with proper nutrition, housing, the correct humidity/ temperature range, or house your gecko with another animal, it will void this guarantee. If a gecko shows signs of illness within the 7-day period please contact me as soon as possible to fix the issue, if no attempts for contact are made the 7-day health guarantee will be voided.

Dead on arrival
In the unlikely event that your gecko arrives deceased, you must contact me immediately. You must send evidence in the form of pictures as well as a video within 30 minutes from the time your animal has been delivered. This is a strict timeline set by my shipping company for insurance claims. All gecko shipments will be insured, but there is a strict time limit to make any claims of a DOA. If it is determined from the photographic evidence that your gecko is deceased, we will help you find a replacement gecko, or we will offer a refund for the value of the gecko. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Shipping
Shipping is done through FedEx priority overnight. Shipping days are Monday-Wednesday and your gecko will only be shipped when day and nighttime temps are between 35 and 90 degrees on both ends. If weather conditions don’t permit shipping, your gecko will be held until conditions improve at no additional charge. Correct shipping information must be provided, (double-check the address) we are not responsible for your mistakes. Geckos can be shipped to any of the lower 48 states. If an animal qualifies for free shipping, this covers domestic shipping only. Any export fees will be at the buyer's expense.

Shipping to your nearest FedEx Hub is the safest option, and highly preferred. In the event arrangements are made to deliver to your door, our live arrival guarantee only applies to shipping to a FedEx Hub.

Shipping cost
Shipping Varies based on order but will not exceed $65. If you are purchasing three or more geckos, or your order exceeds $400, shipping will be free.

Summer/winter holds
We offer holds during winter and summer when the weather is unsafe for shipping. Temperatures must be between 35 and 90 degrees on both sides to ship. If there is extreme weather Here, at the major hub in-between, or at the destination, animals will not be shipped for their safety. During a winter or summer hold, you will be updated every Sunday on the upcoming week's shipping availability.

Abandoned animals
If your gecko has been paid for and we can’t get a hold of you for a period of 1 month, then your animals and payments will be forfeited.

Placing a hold on a gecko/payment plans.
Talking to me does not guarantee you a gecko. The only way to guarantee yourself a gecko from me is to pay in full, or pay a deposit to put a gecko on hold. To place a gecko on hold, a 25% non-refundable deposit will need to be paid. Geckos will be on hold for up to 2 weeks, at which time full payment is due. If payment is not made in full by the end of the 2 week hold period, or you have not made payment plan arrangements with us, we will put the gecko back up for sale and your deposit will be forfeited. Payment plans will be on a case to case basis and will also require a non-refundable 25% deposit. I can be very flexible with these, but please don’t waste my time and ask for endless extensions, or payment plans will no longer be offered.

All gecko purchases are final
Full refunds will not be offered. The only exception is if the animal is somehow injured, sick, or dies before it is shipped. Only order if you are 100% sure you have done your research and can afford to properly take care of the gecko.
